Public pages & sharing
Most wiki pages are internal. But tick Make publicly accessible (Page Settings) and a page can be shared by link with anyone — patients, referrers — without a Teamio login. Good for post-op instructions, pre-visit prep, or a “what to expect” guide you text to patients.
Sharing a public page
Section titled “Sharing a public page”- On a page, enable Make publicly accessible and save.
- Back on the Wiki home list, public pages show a green Public badge next to the title. (The internal read-only view at
/app/wikiview/...also shows a Public globe indicator in the page metadata.) - Select the page’s Copy Public Link action (the link icon in the row). It copies a short URL (for example
/l/xyz789a) to your clipboard, shows the toast Public link copied to clipboard!, and the action’s tooltip flips to Copied! for about three seconds. - Paste it into a text, email, or your website.
What the patient sees
Section titled “What the patient sees”The recipient opens a clean, read-only view of the page at /view-wiki/... — no login, no app chrome. It uses the page’s first header block as the title (that header is then dropped from the body) and renders header, paragraph, image, list, table, delimiter, checklist, and embed blocks, ending with a Powered by Teamio footer.
Spanish only: if the page has a Spanish translation, the public view can show it via a ?lang=es URL parameter. There is no language picker on the public page, and Russian is not available publicly.
If something’s wrong, the visitor sees a Page Not Available screen — for example This wiki page is not publicly accessible. (the page isn’t marked public) or This wiki page does not exist. (bad or deleted link).
- Public means public. Anyone with the link can view it — don’t put internal or patient-specific information on a public page.
- Deleting or un-publishing a public page breaks its shared link — Teamio warns you when you try (see Managing pages).
