Forms behavior depends on the staff member’s role. This page lays out who can do what so you can give people the access they need.

* Employees are view-only on forms by default, but your office can raise them with the Feature Permissions matrix (see below).

  • Employees see the list, but no pencil or trash. They can open any form read-only, generate a share link, pin items, and link submissions — they just can’t build or delete forms unless granted higher access.
  • Packet controls are not edit-gated. Anyone who can see the Forms page can open the Create a Packet / Edit Packet / Delete Packet modals, including Employees.
  • Medical-history update reminders are set up by Teamio. The Settings icon (the gear ⚙️) next to Create New Form opens Medical History Update Reminders, which Teamio manages for you — ask your Teamio contact to turn them on.
  • Admins always have full Forms access — the Feature Permissions matrix can’t downgrade them.

Your office can change Manager, Employee, and Outsourced-style levels per feature in the Feature Permissions matrix (in MyAccount), to one of None, Read, Update, or Delete. For Forms:

  • Read — view forms and submissions, get links, pin (the Employee default).
  • Update — also create and edit forms.
  • Delete — also delete forms.

A role granted only Update can edit a form but won’t see the delete option.
