AI outbound calls (AutoRecall)

AI Call puts the recall and unscheduled-treatment lists on the phone: an AI voice agent calls the patient, has a natural conversation, tries to get them scheduled, and logs every outcome.

The AI Call modal opens from the Teamio Agent panel — the floating chat bubble in the bottom-right corner. In that chat, select the welcome pill Do a follow-up call. (There are also AI Call buttons on the Patient Profile and the follow-up panel, tagged SIM for simulation.)

Pick Overdue recall or Unscheduled treatment. A third option, Broken appointments, is greyed out and marked Coming soon.

Narrow the list with a provider checkbox list (with Select all (x of y)) and a Date from / Date to range, then select Load patients.

  • Mode switch — One patient or Everyone on this list (N).
    • One patient — search by name or PatNum (shows the first 30 matches, each with a Due badge).
    • Batch — per-patient checkboxes with Select all.
  • Call reason — a dropdown that pre-selects from your chosen list: Recall (overdue cleaning) or Treatment (unscheduled).
  • Daily cap — if your selection exceeds the site’s cap, a ⚠ Exceeds daily cap (N) warning appears with an explicit Override checkbox. The cap comes from the site’s bot settings (default 10).
  • Simulation mode — a switch to test the whole flow without dialing a real phone. Leave it on Simulate (no real call) while you’re learning.

Select Call patient / Call N patients to start.

While calls run you see a live status badge, counters for attempted / queued / initiated / skipped, per-call outcome badges with call duration, a Stop batch button, and a Skipped list with the reason each patient was skipped.

Each call ends with one logged outcome: booked, rescheduled, declined, voicemail, no_answer, callback_requested, do_not_contact, or failed — so the human team works only the calls that need a person.

  • Start in simulation, then one real patient, then small batches.
  • Respect do_not_contact outcomes — they feed the patient’s record.
