Treatment plan signed alerts
When a patient signs a treatment plan in Treatment Presenter, from home or chairside, a Treatment plan signed card appears in the Action Center. It’s the cue to get the work scheduled and collect any deposit.
What the card shows
Section titled “What the card shows”
- The patient’s name.
- The plan’s name, as it appears in Open Dental.
- Signed: when the patient signed.
The card doesn’t show prices or procedure codes. Select View plan to see the whole plan.
Every signing gets its own card
Section titled “Every signing gets its own card”If a patient signs the same plan again (say, after you changed it and resent it), you get a new card for the new signature. The earlier card isn’t changed.
Acting on the card
Section titled “Acting on the card”- View plan opens the plan in the Treatment Presenter builder.
- Dismiss clears the card. See Clearing alerts for whether that clears it for everyone or just for you.
A signed plan doesn’t need a reply, so the card stays until someone dismisses it. Otherwise it’s removed after 30 days.
