Online booking for multi-location practices
If your practice has more than one location, online booking gives each one its own settings, branding, and links — and a way to copy a finished setup from one location to the next so you don’t configure each from scratch.
Choosing the location you’re configuring
Section titled “Choosing the location you’re configuring”At the top of Settings is a Configuring for: row of location pills. Each pill shows whether that location is configured or still needs setup, so you can see at a glance which ones are ready. Select a pill to edit that location’s settings — everything on the General and Appointment Types tabs then applies to the selected location only.
How patients pick a location
Section titled “How patients pick a location”Under Location Selection you choose one of three modes:
| Mode | Patient experience | Links |
|---|---|---|
| Single Link — Patients Choose Location | One link; the patient picks their location as the first step. | One shared link. |
| Single Link — Default Location | One link that always opens your chosen default location (no location step). | One shared link. |
| Separate Links — One Per Location | Each location has its own link and its own branding. | One link per location, with a Grab a Link button each. |
A per-location URL table lists every location’s link, with a Reload Links button to regenerate them. In the combined and default modes there’s one link to share; in separate mode each location’s link is independent.
Copying settings between locations
Section titled “Copying settings between locations”Once one location is set up the way you want, you don’t have to redo the work for the next.
- Select Copy from another location.
- In the Copy Settings modal, pick the Copy From location and the Copy To location.
- Choose what to copy: General Settings, Appointment Types, and/or Blockout Rules. General Settings includes the scheduling window — Start Date, End Date, and the automatic-extension checkbox and months — so a location you’ve dialed in doesn’t need its window rebuilt by hand.
Branding per location
Section titled “Branding per location”Each location has its own Patient-Facing Branding (colors, logo, background) on its General settings. This matters most in Separate Links mode, where each location’s link should look like that office.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”A location’s pill still says “needs setup”
Section titled “A location’s pill still says “needs setup””Its required settings — usually the No Fee Code or an appointment type’s operatory-provider mapping — aren’t complete. Select the pill and finish its General and Appointment Types setup.
Copied appointment types won’t book at the new location
Section titled “Copied appointment types won’t book at the new location”That’s expected — operatory-provider mappings don’t copy. Map them for the destination location.
