Launching Teamio from Open Dental
Your team lives in Open Dental all day. You can add a button inside Open Dental that opens the currently selected patient directly in Teamio — no searching, no copy-pasting names.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”With the shortcut in place, a staff member selects a patient in Open Dental, clicks the Teamio button, and Teamio opens straight to that patient’s profile — the page with the patient’s header, tabs, and message/payment/follow-up tools — ready to text them, take a payment, or log a follow-up.
Setting it up

Section titled “Related: Open Dental Planned Appointments”Teamio reads your Open Dental planned appointments (treatment the doctor wants done but that isn’t on the schedule yet). They surface where they’re most useful — for example on the checkout route slip, so the front desk schedules the right next visit while the patient is standing there.
